ICHRE 2019

Exhibition curator JD Mittmann has been invited to present a paper at the 9th International Conference on Human Rights Education at Western Sydney University on how arts and exhibitions can address human rights issues and advance human rights education.

The program included a number of distinguished speakers including Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove, former High-Court Judge Michael Kirby, the first president of Timor-Leste Xanana Gusmao, President of the Australian Human Rights Commission Rosalind Croucher and many government and civil society representatives from Europe, Africa and Asia.
