Exhibition finissage and farewell

A successful two-and-a-half-year exhibition tour came to its end this weekend at Burrinja.

Artists from Sydney and Melbourne, as well as Yalata community members came together for a special screening of the Alphaville productions Ngurini and 10 Minutes to Midnight in the Burrinja Theatre.Burrinja board member Aunty Janet Turpie-Johnston welcomed the South Australian guests. Yalata Aboriginal Corporation board member reminded the audience how the history of the atomic tests affects the community these days.

Exhibition curator JD Mittmann gave an overview of the exhibition tour, its highlights and achievements, and thanks all involved.
