NETS funding application successful

Black Mist Burnt Country has been accepted into the NETS Victoria’s Exhibition Development Fund (EDF). NETS (National Exhibition Touring Support) offers three grants of up to $10,000 available for any one project, devolved to NETS from Arts Victoria to develop touring exhibitions of contemporary art, craft and design.

From Adelaide, Curator JD Mittmann traveled to Yalata community in South Australia, 250 km west of Ceduna and 1700 km east of Perth, to meet Anangu/Pitjantjatjara and consult community representatives and elders. The visit was kindly supported by the Melbourne-based philanthropic Gordon Darling Foundation.
